Sourya Pattnaik Auditorium, one of the highlights of RIMS, was inaugurated in 2009. The auditorium has been a witness to several high profile conferences, seminars, talks, and cultural events over the years. This fully air conditioned auditorium can accommodate up to 600 persons at a time. There is a waiting area for performers just behind the stage. One of its USPs is its sound system, which is enhanced by the sound absorbing acoustic wall panels installed inside.
