

The 8th Punyatithi of Prof.Hrudananda Ray was observed at Rourkela Institute of Management Studies on 27th July, 2023. He was noted writer, philosopher and orator of Odisha and also a recipient of many prestigious awards for his contribution to odiya literature and for runners in spreading Jaganath Culture. Chairperson Smt Nalini prava Patnaik, Secretary Dr. Arya Patnaik, All deans,principal, faculty and staff members were present over there.


Yoga Day celebrated in Rourkela Institute of Management Studies. In this event Special Yog aasan are done by students,faculty and staff members of RIMS. Secretary Dr.Arya Patnaik addressed the students and gave the message that yoga and meditation is the only solution for being healthy in the present situation. It gives us positivity and energy. All the faculty and staff members were present there and performed different aasanas.

13th National voters day is celebrated at Rourkela institute of Management studies.Students and faculties have taken an oath to vote for democracy with the theme of “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure”.


Rourkela institute of Management studies welcomes the Hockey World Cup 2023 in college campus. Chairperson of RIMS Smt Nalini Prava Patnaik,Advisor Rita Patnaik and Secretary Dr. Arya Patnaik Welcome the trophy with good wishes. The ceremony was followed by cultural events by students. All the faculty members, students and staff were present over there. It was a proud and prestigious moment for RIMS.
